Werewolf: the Apocalypse Database LJ Entries

Now begins the long process of editing these around so they don't look like jumbled messes. I'll be adding these to my memories and linking them all in this post so they are easier for me to access for editing.
NOTE: Megaupload was taken down, so the old download links for the Microsoft Database files no longer function. I will be taking the links down for now. I'll be looking towards another upload website in the future once I get all the new info sorted out.

Books/Magazine/etc. I'm looking for:
White Wolf Book List and Wishlist

Timeline for updates:
Adding Werewolf: the Forsaken LJ Links.
Adding/Organizing Changeling: the Dreaming LJ Links.
Reediting and adding new Werewolf: the Apocalypse LJ Links.
Adding Hunter: the Reckoning LJ Links.
Taking out the old Megaupload links and adding new upload links for both MSW Database and Notepad files.
Breaking up the other characters section in the W:tA area for new Mage, Wraith, Demon, Mummy, and Vampire sub-sections.
Doing the same for WOD 2.0 from the Werewolf: the Forsaken section.

Mage 20 is announced for 2013

So the Werewolf: the Apocalypse 20th kickstarter did so well that...

Mage 20 is in the works for Sept. 2013. From Richard Thomas over at the White Wolf forums:

"I'm thrilled to announce that Mage the Ascension 20th Anniversary is definitely going to be released in 2013. I wanted to review how Werewolf the Apocalypse 20th did with its Kickstarter before confirming that M20 was happening, but obviously the Deluxe W20 Kickstarter was a massive success and the benchmarks I was looking at proved good. Contrary to some belief, this was not the amount raised, but the number of backers and who backed what as well as the overall amount of excitement and fan participation. Based on W20, I have no doubt that M20 is going to be an awesome thrill ride. Pencil it in for September 2013. And now, a word from Mage's once and future developer, Phil Brucato:
-------------------------------------------------
The War for Reality begins again!"

Yep, Mage: The Ascension is celebrating its 20th anniversary, with all three of the classic line developers on board.

I’ll be handling the primary development and writing, with Bill Bridges and Jesse Heinig contributing both words and vision to the project.

We’ll have a number of the classic-era artists and authors along for the ride as well, and will be naming more names as we go along.

A huge compilation of all-new material is in the works. This 20th anniversary edition will have something for almost everyone, and cover the range of Mage’s world.

This is going to seriously shake the pillars of heaven.

Watch this space for more details.

Magick lives, and we’re making it real.
------------------------------------------
"Thanks to all of you Mage the Ascension fans who have let us know how much you love this amazing, amazing game. Let the wild speculation begin."

Rage CCG: Curse of Set fanset released!

Long ago, in the time of the pharaohs, Garou and Fera made war upon the vampires that infested Egypt. The war raged on and on until the dark god Set laid a curse upon the Silent Striders, driving them out of Egypt. No Silent Strider could sleep within the bounds of Egypt without suffering terrible nightmares. They were driven from their homeland, forced to become wanderers, always longing for home but never able to return.

The vampires turned then to the Fera. The Bubasti could not leave their homeland due to a mystic connection with the land, so suffered an even worse fate than the Silent Striders. The vampires captured the kinfolk of the Bubasti and made them their slaves. Those they could not capture, they killed. The Bubasti were left to slowly waste away, cut off from their feline kin… or to mate with the now Wyrm tainted kin and slowly be corrupted from within.

Now the Apocalypse approaches. Set’s childer wake from their slumber and raise cults to praise the Dark God. The Striders see nightmares even when awake, so return to retake their homeland. The Bubasti see the rise of Hellcats and make a last ditch effort to keep from joining them in the belly of the Wyrm.

Will the first battle of the Apocalypse take place in Egypt? Or will the Garou and fera be able to work together to stave off their ancient foes just a little longer?
