I hate this heat wave tonight (Thank Klono I don't live in Ojai or any other inland Californian city). But I can't stand this friggin' heat! Are we going to have another Indian summer that goes into October this time around?!
I know that it has been several weeks since I last posted. That's because my older sister with her daughter have moved in and it sucks very much so: Due to her daughter being a brat that can't be left alone for a second! And the great news is that they will still be around when I go back to Ventura College. Oh boy! I can only see more of my ceramic artwork being broken by that time!
I also went to see Tut in LA recently, boy was that overhyped. As an someone interested in Art History, I do find everything towards Tut overhyped, though. I can say that while it was nice to see them in person, I wasn't really that impressed from all the fanfare, and the museum seems to be poor in putting things in a order that makes sense. I did get an interesting book that I finished reading, however, called: The Cat in Ancient Egypt
Also I bought God of War after Anime Expo due to what Princess on Outlaw Star.Net said back to me via a private message. I love that game a lot! I wished there were more games on Greek mythology because of it and it certainly washed away the funk caused by the poor Sphinx game. Normally I play collections and platforms, and tend to stay away from action games that seem like Devil May Cry due to the noted difficulty in these games. But I love God of War, I love the Parappa death kills! Even if I have to put the controller on the floor to start slamming on the circle button just kill the Hydra boss and Minotaurs. However, I can't play it during when my older sister's daughter is in the house because of how gory the game is. I have no problem with it, but it's annoying to have her watch and keep bugging me anyways.
Mwuahahaha! I made her watch 'The Cat Returns' one day, which she calls 'The Kitty Movie'. She actually was watching it since if it's a movie she's seen 100 times (Lilo and Stitch) she goes off to cause mischief. Her mother came home from work, and was slightly irritated that I made her watch 'Japanmation'. Damn hypocrite. This is coming from someone who will praise watching Voltorn when she was younger and gets mad at me every time I say that was an 'anime' to her...
Also got the two Wild Half volumes (12 and 17) in the mail! As well as a CD and Ghost Towns. I found out that I could read Ghost Towns in about a day, while I still haven't finished Forsaken or the Rockies book as of late. I don't know what it is with White Wolf hard covers, but it takes me a long time to read them.
I’ll bring out my stuff from AX '05 to write about Anime Expo this afternoon if I can.

You're so damn jaded.
And stop calling me Pooka Neko! Just call me . . . Pooka-Looka Pie.
Hmmmmmm. Whatever you say. But I'm not the one who went on for hours about how the King Tut exhibit was so overhyped. Seeing that hologram with the corpse was fascinating. I love corpses. | |
