This list is to remind me of what I'm doing and what I'm up to.
Art Projects Rage CCG illustration pieces: Spring the Trap Stoneheaded Mace Kiva (Two pieces) Spotless Bitter Blow
I will draw each illustration out first, then use carbon paper to copy the finalized versions on Gesso boards. I will be using acrylic paints rather than using watercolors, so the colors will stand out more once scanned. If it doesn't work out, I still have copies of the final drawings to color via computer programs. Also every other project listed below is held off until I can finish these. Once I'm done, I'll see what's left over to finish quickly. And when the deadline ends: I'll be re-doing some old artwork for the sets.
Paper Mache Masks: Hyena Eel Coyote Zuu (Half mask which covers head) Dragon (Giant and long elaborate mask)
The Zuu and Dragon masks are just one-time made and your done pieces while the others are meant to made into copies via molds. I’m just waiting until I have a time where I can buy a bunch of materials to make latex/silicone molds for paper mache recipes. I’m hoping to make the those starting three into a series of different styles and animals/creatures. So eventually, I can start up an online shop outside of ebay to sell masks or make my first commission. The Zuu mask is for Solstice since the reverse-griffin creature represents the Summer wind. I would like to make a costume to go with it, but the only patterns I found for a bird costume was for kids. It has to be a costume with bird wings under the arms which taper to lion paws for the hands. Zuu also has a bird tail and lion-like legs with bird feet. Not to mention to find light fuzzy green (Old Bronze/Brass sculptures turn green) fabric that’s suitable to wear in a parade in the hot sun.
Non-Art Projects Rage CCG Pack databases: I’m still working out the kinks for these. But I should be close to finishing the Wyrm factions. My only problem is with the databases for Weenies, Mid-Renown, and Champions. As in what the starting Renown and ending Renown be for each one as I don’t want Champions being able to use every single card. Since it would be unfair to the two others in what they are limited to use. So I believe Champions should have access to the powerful cards, but not access to everything that Weenies and Mid-Renown characters can use. Also Paf: You completely left off the Children of Gaia and put the Stargazers into two packs (Umbra and Mid-Renown). I didn’t notice it until the list on Word was only left with the Gaians with no base to transfer them to.
W:tA Reference Databases Still working on these too. I have to update them every time I get a new book.
Secret Translation project I’m not saying what this is, only that it involves translating Italian into English.
Hyena's First Game FAQ Not saying for what game this is for.
Cleaning out the Garage Found the stuff I was missing before (CD and cels) and donated tons of books during the Fall. Of which still doesn't cover the rest of the books that didn't get sent off. I swear my family could set up their own library if they wanted to. Have to sell a lot of the junk still here and remove the furniture taking up space. And I could finally have a working space for art instead of working outside. The other problem: All my dad's comic books, records, and magazines. To which he doesn't want to get rid of anything. When I mean anything, it's stuff not even in any good condition to sell for that he still thinks is worth money. |

| Werewolf: the Apocalypse Weapons and Equipment Part Two |
[May. 21st, 2011|04:38 pm] |
Been slowly updating the W:ta lists and it turns out that W&E part one cannot post all the new info I have from the Dark Ages books. So I'm making a new post with this data.
Also it's taking me time to re-edit the Miscellaneous and Wyrm Character sections for one thing only: Adding all the stupid vampires to the Database from a Word Doc of Pen and Paper.com's stat section. How many NPC characters did you need to have, White Wolf?!

| Sorry, been busy of late... |
[Apr. 15th, 2011|01:39 am] |
Sorry if I haven't posted in a while. I'm trying to catch up with everything.
But, I've been busy with: 1. School work. That means math work and trying to do as many clay projects as possible before the kiln is closed off for everyone on bisque fired pieces. It's not Finals yet, but it's getting close. 2. Art projects I'm working on. 3. I had my birthday recently, which I need to talk about at some point. 4. I went to Monsterpalooza for the third time (Also need to talk about since I went to the Howling and Haruo Nakajima panels).
And lastly number 5... What I got for my birthday:
I bought Patapon 2 much earlier, but it was the code version that didn't come with a UMD disc. Which really pissed me off since I'm an non-online type of gamer. So when I discovered via Game Stop that Sony fixed their ways by releasing a disc version of Patapon 2. I made sure to get a copy for my birthday. And I'll be selling my non-UMD copy.
Oh, how evil Patapon's ways are. The new game even has fixed some problems of the original game I remembered talking about. Like why couldn't I fight former battles instead of bosses all the time? Well, Patapon 2 answered that, even added new things, and redid the whole Patapon creation up from scratch. Now, you don't have to kill former Patapons to create new ones. You just level them up now and can equip different stages they have gained. I still hate the baby mountain mini-game, though.
I hate the Crab and final Demon bosses. I'm this close to beating the game, I swear.
Still: How come there is no Patapon OST/Score CD yet? The music's great and catchy, but still no CD. Meanwhile, the other game title by the company, Loco Roco, has at least three to four CDs out. I would also love more Patapon merchandise, I can't get enough of the tribal bloody-thirsty cute eyeballs.
I'm eagerly waiting for Patapon 3, which should be released soon.
Before Patapon 2, I was playing Yugioh GX Tag Force 2 on my PSP. I've been making notes on that game about the partners I've had to deal with. I've heard horror stories about the computer A.I. for Judai/Jaden, but haven't had any trouble with him so far. Best partner so far had to be either Kenzen (Which made me really love the dinosaur type, must steamroll everything) or Manjoume. These two partners had the same flaw, though: Any card that removes Spell or Trap cards back to the hand. They would use said card, take my cards that way, reuse their cards, and yet not play my cards. And these would be good Trap cards, mind you. And they would never replay them at all.
Johan/Jesse, on the other hand.... Crystal Beasts are a very abusive deck, that's for sure. But as someone who likes using burn Spells and Traps, they take up too much room in those areas. Then again, pulling out and summoning Rainbow Dragon is pretty sweet. Also, Johan LOVES attacking with Ruby for some reason. He can have some powerful monsters on the field or none at all, once he summons Ruby, he attacks with Ruby's 300 ATK. He lost me a tag battle that way *Headdesk*.
You have to be careful with the mini-games too. Manjoume absolutely hates "Can you make 500 friends?". Every time I play that, his heart would go back. But he loved dodge ball a little too much. Then again, it is the best mini-game of the lot. I've recently gotten Tag Force 3, but it may take me a while to get out of my Patapon 2 fever before I even play that or get back to Tag Force 2. I will be avoiding Judai's story mode in 3 simply because of Trueman and Darkness. I would wait until I had a bunch of cards first before taking them on.
I'm close to finishing up my Tribal War playset, I only need Equniox uncommons, rares, making copies of the promos/foils, and printing out the two fansets. I'm planning on learning the game and help kick start the fansets again for that. |

[Mar. 5th, 2011|02:13 pm] |

I actually like the coloring Fenris did, thanks!
I've been busy as of late, though. But I do have a story I will post later: First time I've ever wanted to throttle someone on the bus. I mean, I've met crazy people on the bus before, but this takes the cake. |

| The rise of the Stuff-People and classes |
[Jan. 9th, 2011|06:24 pm] |
Spring Classes Well, it turns out I do have to take algebra in order to get my art degree. But first I have to take prealgebra first in the Spring. Then the normal Algebra class in the Summer. And I should be done unless I want to transfer (More classes!) to CSUCI. Wish me good luck on that: I hate higher math…
Ceramic Decorating I M-W 6:30-9:20 pm (I have to take something to ease up the stressful math.) Prealgebra M-W-F 12:30-1:20 pm
The Prealgebra text book is about $80.00 new and knowing Ventura College you cannot wait one more day after classes start to get a used or library textbook. It is impossible.
I'm interested in when they finish re-doing the theater so I can check it out. I loved working behind-the-scenes in a theater.
Weather HAH! I predicted it! I just knew Winter was going to massively suck this year because of the Summer of No-Summer and the incredibly super hot Fall. It got as low as the 30’s around here. Nasty. I couldn’t stand being inside the house at all and slept all day in bed because it was too cold to do anything. Wouldn’t cause snow around here as that only happened once in the 1940’s in Oxnard. But with Global Warming, I expect more No-Summers (June Gloom all the time!) and cold long Winters happening in Ventura. Talk about Newton’s laws of Motion. I’m sure in the future, moderate to big tornadoes and storms will pop up from the clash between the Ocean’s climate vs. Santa Ana winds. And with all that increased rainfall for a naturally dry climate, more mudslides hurray! I hate humidity.
Etc. Next things I will post about are the holidays and a few other things that need photos posted first before I talk about them.
I will be going to Monsterpalooza 2011 in the Spring! Will be my third time there. I love that convention in Burbank and it looks like they are going to have some of the people from The Howling there. Maybe a possibility of a panel on Saturday? |

| Cold foggy summer, very hot fall |
[Sep. 27th, 2010|06:59 pm] |
I hate this weather... Normally when I would be semi-dying from overheating in August, I'm doing that in late September. Late September, people...instead of sometimes being in early Sept. The weather moving around like this isn't good. Let me guess, the Santa Anna winds will happen in Jan.? This has to be the worse Indian Summer ever. Yeah, June Gloom became, "Look, no summer at all!". Some people are happy for the sunshine right now, but I can bet this will cause heavy rain by winter and spring. Resulting in very nasty flash floods and mud slides.
It is nice to work with paper mache in this hot dry weather, but I can't work long periods of time due to the sunlight.
Sorry for not updating like I should: My history teacher is always bombarding me with constant homework. So when I am on the computer not reading stuff or watching videos, I'm on Mircosoft word.
Things I need to talk about when I can: A very long post about Bela (Cat) passing away during the Summer, Movies I've seen so far, Monsteroplazza 2010 spring convention, and Halloween/Art projects. I'll try to get these done, as long as I don't have homework over the weekends.
Noted: I've been collecting a bunch a thick long branches from the side parks and ditch in the neighborhood. I'll use screws to get them together as a single item to go over the outside hallway that leads up to the door. I'm hoping to use it to hang props (Crows, snakes, etc.) and cheesecloth for Halloween. So the trick or treat'ers will be distracted by this massive prop above so they don't look out for any hidden away small animated props below.
Did I tell you how much I hate this ungodly hot weather? I think I'll try to take a cold bath and try to finish up my homework at the last minute. |

| Fall Class schedule |
[Aug. 15th, 2010|10:07 pm] |
Classes start tomorrow on Aug. 16. I'll be selling back my Summer class textbooks and getting books hopefully on that day too.
Here's my schedule: Walking (P.E.): M-W-F 9:30 to 10:20 am Geography of California: M-W 5:30 to 6:45 pm U.S. History: Native Americans: T-TH 9:00 to 10:15 am
On other things Still editing those W:tA lists... I'm also planning on making a LJ comm for a Werewolf: the Apocalypse fanbook project just to gather information and research so far. I have the following I'm interested in doing: Ahadi & Ajaba Changing Breed Book, Rage Across India, or Rage Across California. One of the problems I'm running into with RAC is that I can't find the proper information for native Californian monsters outside of cryptology and urban legends. I have December's Child, so I'm aware of all the monsters from Chumash myths, but that's it. When I try looking, I just keep getting normal stories, such as: "How Coyote stole fire", mass etc.
A lot of the stuff my sister wanted to sell: Didn't sell. So I'll be re-listing those items and adding new items (Paperback books) this week. |

| Werewolf: the Apocalypse Garou Characters Part 5 |
[Aug. 13th, 2010|10:52 pm] |
To download from MegaUpload: Garou Characters (Microsoft Works)
Will sort this out later. But I am now getting into the home stretch. This should cover Kinfolk, Ronin, and unknown characters. The unknowns are basically up for grabs if they haven't already had a card in the fansets. Since some only have an auspice known, but not a tribe and vice versa. Depending on how the name sounds can probably detect what Tribe they should be. "Wired-for-Rage", obviously would be a Glass Walker character even if the books never said so. However, some are harder than that for guessing what they should be.
